Your admission ticket is valid on the same day for all current exhibitions in the Deutsches Technikmuseum, in the main building and in the exhibition area Ladestrasse. Please hold on to your ticket.

From December on: Free admission for all visitors under 18!

From December 2022 on, all visitors under the age of 18 (or until the end of their regular school education) are eligible for free admission.

Please note: It is nevertheless necessary to get a 0-Euro-Ticket (also available online).


Regular price

Adult: € 8

Adults in groups of 10 people or more: € 5


Concessions: € 4

Reduced ticket in groups of 10 people or more: € 2

The reduced rate applies to the following visitors, on presentation of the appropriate identification:

  • Students
  • Unemployed
  • Severely disabled persons with 50% or more
  • Reduction of earning capacity, social security recipients
  • Persons receiving benefits under the Benefits for Asylum Seekers Act (Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz),
  • Persons doing German military or federal volunteer service
  • Persons with berlinpass and berlinpass-BuT
  • Groups of students from special schools and similar institutions

Free Admission

On presentation of the appropriate identification, the following visitors are eligible for free admission:

  • Children and teenagers under 18, or on presentation of a valid student ID-card
  • Teachers preparing a visit to the museum
  • Teachers accompanying groups of students
  • Participants of Kulturprojekte and “Jugend im Museum”
  • A recognized accompanying person for a severely disabled person
  • Members of the support associations "Freunde und Förderer des Deutschen Technikmuseums e.V." and "Förderverein Zuckermuseum"
  • Members of the press
  • Members of ICOM and DMB
  • Holders of Berlin and Brandenburg Volunteer ID Cards (Ehrenamtskarte)
  • Refugees with proof of arrival at destination (Ankunftsnachweis)
  • Students from welcome classes, language classes for immigrants (Willkommensklassen)
  • Refugee groups accompanied by a refugee aid organization member
  • Refugees from the Ukraine

Museum Sunday

On the first Sunday of each month, admission is free to everybody. Free Tickets are only available through the Museum Sunday website. Tickets cannot be purchased on site at the museum.

Museum für Naturkunde

  • On presentation of the Museum für Naturkunde admission ticket, individual visitors receive free admission for one accompanying person. This means that one person pays full admission and the second person receives free admission. This offer does not apply to group and family rates and cannot be combined with other discounts.


Payment can be made via EC card, V-Pay and credit card (Visa, Master). In our online ticket shop payment can be made via paypal and credit card.


Annual Membership Pass

Become a member of one of our supporting associations for an unlimited visit. Being a member will allow you to experience technology and science as often as you like - twelve months, six days a week.


Jugendkulturkarte Berlin

At Deutsches Technikmuseum and Science Center Spectrum you can use the Jugendkulturkarte Berlin between February and April 2023. It’s a 50-euro culture credit enabling young Berliners aged 18 to 23 to visit us for free. You need to register for the card and pick it up until 28 February.
