Our buildings and exhibitions are, with a few exceptions, accessible by wheelchair. Accessible toilets are available in all parts of the building. Due to Corona related restrictions, renting folding wheelchairs at the cloakroom is only possible after a request via email to info@technikmuseum.berlin. Renting infant buggies is not possible at the moment. We apologize for the inconvenience!
The museum visit makes you hungry? Strengthen yourself in one of our three museum cafés or let an eventful day end with a culinary treat! You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink, which can be eaten in the museum park.
Lockers are available for your wardrobe and bags. Please note that large luggage (suitcases) cannot be stored in the lockers. At the Science Center Spectrum for safety reasons all backpacks and large bags must be left in the lockers.
We care very much for the safety of our big and small visitors. Children are very welcome. Before they have reached the age of ten, however, they can visit Deutsches Technikmuseum and Science Center Spectrum only when accompanied by an adult.
Taking photographs and videotaping for private purposes without tripod monopod or external flash are permitted. Taking photographs and videotaping for commercial purposes require prior written permission and are subject to a fee. Therefore, please contact us via email at: info@technikmuseum.berlin.
Take a souvenir home with you! In our two museum shops in the main building and at the Ladestraße extension, you will find technology and science souvenirs as well as books and additional material as well as gifts inspired by the exhibitions of Deutsches Technikmuseum and Science Center Spectrum.
