Junior Campus

As part of the Road Transport exhibition, the Deutsches Technikmuseum and the BMW Group offer an educational programme for daycare groups and school classes: Junior Campus.

Bookable dates are released on the first Wednesday of each month and displayed on the detail page for the respective programme.

Mobility, Sustainability and Science

The Junior Campus offers workshops for daycare groups and school classes on the topics of mobility, sustainability and science. Through independent experimentation and exploration, children gain a hands-on and accessible understanding of these different subjects. At the Deutsches Technikmuseum, two programme series are available: „Gefährten“ and „mathemachen“.

Gefährten

The „Gefährten“ programme focuses on mobility, road safety and sustainable production. It is structured according to age and is aimed at children aged three to 15. Six different topics are available to choose from. Each programme begins with an age-appropriate exploration of the permanent Road Transport exhibition. The children then explore the topics in greater depth in the Junior Campus workshop.

Mathemachen

The „mathemachen“ programme is aimed at groups of children aged five to ten who want to deepen their understanding of mathematics. The workshops spark the children’s curiosity and encourage them to explore. At interactive stations, they can carry out a wide range of experiments relating to shapes, solids, symmetry and coding. In the process, they discover the fundamentals of geometry in a playful, hands-on and multisensory way.

The Junior Campus also offers workshops for families and children’s birthday parties. In addition, the Junior Campus contributes to the Deutsches Technikmuseum’s holiday programme.
