Special offers for groups
The first Saturday of the month is devoted to a special topic, with different kinds of activities devoted to a variety of themes. We highlight individual exhibits and present them from a fresh point of view, expand on specific aspects of the exhibition, and take a deep dive into broad-ranging questions.
We also regularly invite visitors to observe experiments performed for the public, attend demonstrations in the exhibition, and participate in workshops.
We offer general introductions and programs focused on specific topics for school, daycare, and other groups. We take a closer look at individual experiments and even at whole sections of the Science Center. Experiments are selected on the basis of individual teaching plans and the students’ level of knowledge.
A special highlight is the Milestones School Lab, where students perform optics and electricity experiments using reproductions of historical equipment. Written sources provide insight into the life and work of scientists and show how scientific communication functions.
