Museum Sunday: Entry free!

The "Museum Sunday" program initiated by Berlin's museums and memorials offers free admission into participating museums once every month! Admission is free on the first Sunday of every month - and all are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Visit our museum – for free!

There are lots of surprising things to discover! We are quite a large museum with exhibitions on railways, shipping, aviation and much more spread out over 26,500 square meters. Everyone who has driven past our museum along on the Landwehr Canal knows the "Candy Bomber" hanging on our façade. But inside the museum is even more interesting: There is, for example, the oldest computer in the world (very large!) and a huge "Kaffe" barge that transported building materials from the surrounding areas to the city via the Berlin waterways 150 years ago. Old radios and televisions show how people used to listen to music and view films in former times.

In the Science Center Spectrum, 150 experiments from the fields of science and technology invite you to join in and try them out. Whether whole families or individual visitors – there is something of interest for everyone.

There is something for everyone on Museum Sunday. We look forward to your visit!

Free tickets are available only through the Museum Sunday website. Tickets cannot be purchased on site at the museum.
